The season of the Winter will present this December 21 and with it will come the low temperatures and disease. Remember that the symptoms of Covid-19 could be confused with those of influenza, that is why we ask you to take care of yourself and take all the necessary prevention measures

According to experts in this winter season, people with asthma , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), allergic rhinitis , occupational lung diseases, hypertension , lung disease, pneumonia , bronchitis are also present or aggravated .

How to take care of these diseases? 

To begin, identify if you belong to the sector of the most exposed people; that is, children, pregnant women, and adults, also people who suffer from diseases such as diabetes, asthma, among others. All of these must be extremely careful and take care of themselves more than ever.

Follow these recommendations: 

  • Wash your hands with soap and water : before cooking , eating or after using the bathroom. In the case of having a baby or an old man at home, wash your hands before changing diapers.
  • Having vaccines to the day: to avoid complications in health and mortality; for example, the flu vaccine. 
  • Ventilate all environments to daily. 
  • Keep free environments of smoke. 
  • Sustain breastfeeding for at least 6 months.
  • Avoid touching your face .
  • Do not share your utensils or glasses with others. 
  • Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.

Home remedy: Prepare ginger tea, it will help increase your defenses. Cut a piece of ginger, remove the skin, while a saucepan with water is boiling, when it reaches the boiling point add the root. 

In as much in a cup put the juice of a lemon and a spoonful of honey. Take it as hot as you can.
